double din

anyone know if a double din conversion is possible in the leon, as i have noticed that models with sat nav are double din.

is there a kit available to convert the standard aura setup to a double din slot.

shoudle just be a case of moving climate control unit down. ???

yes it is possible you need to buy new centre console piece with double din slot.

double din centre console ( can cost upto £265 from some dealers)
silver facia cover ( cost bout £20)
MFD satnav unit with map cd(from ebay £300-500)
gps antenna (£15 of ebay)
Plug and play cables (£30 from ebay)

i see, can i assume you have to buy a 2 din center console then?Additionally is that a parrot bluetooth kit you have on the bottom? Doesnt look very accessable. Is it screwed to the ash tray?

Yes you need another console, for the double din .
Ashtray is no longer in the dash console, it's now in the center lower console.
Parrot is down there en is stuck to the bottom of the console.
Climate controle is accessable to so Parrot isn't a problem, you can recieve phonecalls with one touch of a button & call with voice dialing

The console in Holland: 1M0 858 061 C 1UQ = € 312,84 excl VAT
Black frontpanel = 1M0 863 263 F 40N = €20,28 Excl VAT
