So i wanted to get my Milltek system fitted today, and i get to the last nut of the downpipe, and it wont budge!!

I sprayed it with WD-40 and left it for an hour or so.... And still, it wont budge.

The other 3 came off with ease.

I heated the last nut up with a blow torch and it finally came unstuck, but i think its cross threaded, as now its is turning on the spot and wont come undone. So the nut or/and thread seem to be nackered and i cant get it off.

Any suggestions? [:@]

if its spinning the thread is already knackered isnt it?
i would have put the 3 other buts back on before getting aggressive with the 4th to make sure it was all aligned correctly and there wasnt any force applied to the bolt head.
Is it possible you have broken the bolt?

Well i dont know if its the thread on the bolt, or the nuts thread has given in.

Id like to get it off and hope the bolt is still ok for a replacement nut.

But its just spinning at the last bit :(

So pissed!

Nope, its just turning on the thread. its so close too...

Good job i dont have a REVO stage 1 booked in tommorow morning...

OH WAIT! I DO!!

Have you tried getting something to leaver it down then unscrew ;) in basically push it onto the thread that's what I've done a mlion times at work well my last job used a trim tool on the it ;)

Ive tried. Its so difficult as theres no space for a Ratchet or spanner etc.

Ill give it a go again in the morning, if i dont succeed ill go get a dremel from Argos.

Hopefully i can get the system on before 12.
