Returned from Holiday on Friday, Car died 2 min's away from airport at 6am
had to wait ages to be recovered by AA. :(

Had an error pop up before we went on holiday;
Error; Gearbox, you can drive on
Error; drive system, please visit workshop

managed to drive to the airport and leave the car till we returned, no noticeable difference in driving apart from a slight dip in power.

leaving airport after holiday drove for about 2 mile then same errors:

Error; Gearbox, you can drive on
Error; drive system, please visit workshop
Maximum engine speed 4000rpm
warning's about high voltage battery flat

car went into limp mode then refused to start.

Seat/VW roadside assistance couldn't identify the issue, so AA recovered it and took to main dealer.

anyone else had any similar errors?

(1.4 FR Ehybrid first edition) July 21 plate

Actually this is the exact problem I had last friday in my MK3 Cupra. I’ve been towed to my dealer. Did you had rattling and knocking sounds from the gearbox as well?
No, there was no noticeable difference or noises when driving at all, a minor dip in power initially but then was fine until it went into limp mode.

got car back,

mechanic tried to explain to me, from what he said;
Plug in hybrids have 3 parts to the clutch, one for the electric engine, one for the petrol engine and then something the combines the 2. Its the part that joins the two the was faulty. unfortunately they have to replace it all though.

turns out there wasn't a head light issue, it was another error on the dash. also no faulty wiring loom mechanic snapped some wires removing the gearbox so had to replace them...
