Driver side window problem

Guys

Has anyone had a problem with the windows in their Leon?

I was driving along todaywith the window down. When I put it down there was a bit of a clunk when it got to the bottom. Then when I went to put it back up the window didn't want to budge - the electric motor was going but the window wouldn't move.

I've now managed to pull the window back up manually, but wondered if anyone else has had the same problem...and more importantly, what the solution was. Spoke to Autoglass and they reckoned mk3 Golfs have a problem with the railing that holds the bottom of the window - they said it sounds like it's the same problem.

Any input would be great.

This happened to me yesterday, apparently it's a common problem. I'm hoping to have the car back tomorrow

Is it just a case of them replacing the part that the window sits on?

MY passenger rear window only goe s down if u use a little bit of force on the glass then it`s fine , so i`m gonna have a look next week to check what`s wrong

Had the car back today and its working perfect, they even fixed the light for the alarm in the as well lol

Your cable has probably snapped that runs the window up and down. Easy fix. I think the part is about £20
