Drivers seat colapsing

Has anyone had trouble with there seat s colapsing (hight wise ) if so is there any easy fix

Sorry couldn't resist! when you say collapsing,you mean the whole seat is lowering itself,or going soft in the middle?

Mine does that....I usually find I need to raise it about 2-3 times per week on average !!
Never got round to checking out the mechanism...is it mechanical or hydraulic ???

I have experienced this but discovered it was my own doing.
The lever at the side of the seat lowers the seat when pushed down.
When I was getting in and out of the car i was accidentally leaning on it and this over time was putting the seat down.
Now once a week or so I just pull the lever up until the seat is high again.
