Drivers side wiper.

On friday night while driving the drivers side wiper just stopped working but the passanger side one carried on. I take it there is a little arm that joins the two wipers together and this might of snapped? I havent really had a chance to look.

From what I can see the drivers side arm is floppy and really easy to move unlike the passengers side which doenst budge.

Can anyone tell me if this is a cheap and easy problem to fix or we talking new motors and all that?

Only had the car 4 weeks and so far ive had a broken clutch peddle, this problem and today when the fans come on when you start the car they sound like hoovers.

The same thing has just happened to mine today as well.
The bar that joins the two wipers has come apart at the ball joint just in front of the ecu.
I pushed it back together but five minutes later it done the same thing. It Was a bit dangerous trying to drive down the motorway in heavy rain with only the passenger side wiper working until i could get somewhere to stop

The problem may not be your fans, but the secondry air pump may have a split hose. Its the odd shaped thing to the left of the oil filter.

The rod joining the drivers side wiper to the motor crank has come off. It's a snap fit onto the crank, but if it has become too loose it may need replacing. Not too painful.
