Awesome choice!!! Didn't see this coming at all!

Mk5 GTI seats are just perfection, please tell me your keeping the tartan.. PLEASE!

I reckon the tartan would be a quality addition with other bits done to match.

Inspired choice

P.S keep 3 head rests, different and well different

I nearly got a set of them off my mate with Polo rails to put in my Ibiza, but couldn't be bothered as was selling them.

Awesome seats, I would definitely contact Luke and get the tarton material (it was either him, or he knows the person) and get doorcards done same dude, such great seats

If your Mum works for a comnpany that makes kilts, that might be a bit thick for what you want I think, just bear that in mind. Also, be prepared for the smell, fresh wool tartan is not nice. Work with it on a regular basis at Andersons, and it basically smells like a wet sheep. It is however very pliable, so the only small issue with the likes of door cards ect will be making sure the weft and weave are both kept straight. Don't take this the wrong way and I don't want to sound like a 'know it all', but I honestly think you would be better getting a tartan patterned fabric, rather than wool. Sorry I wouldn't attempt the seats, but door cards and other little things I think I could do, if thats any help to you.

My 106 GTI had the half leather half alcantara, was a perfect combo for me.
But suede is a bitch to keep clean

Yeah mine where out of a 106 GTI, its always been the best for me, not fan of full leather

Yeah im not gonna fight with ya on that one, cuz your like a fabric wizard:cartman:

I think its more the design im looking for really than the actual fabric, i know you get a 'lightweight' kilt material dunno what thats made of:confused: but like said im not rushing into anything, all i know is half leather......

Fabric wizard I am indeed!! Need any help/advice, drop me a txt.

Lightweight will still be wool but it's made with a thinner weft. I honestly dont know if you will like wool, it's pretty 'itchy' and I think your looking for the pattern, but on a smooth fabric that won't 'bobble'. :)
