Someone seems to be having more success now? I havent had any disgruntled texts late at night.

Coming on nicely :)

Yeah it's decided it wants to play ball now. All problems seem to have been fixed. Gonna pick up new bolts for my new drop links this weeek too so then it's k for the road again.

As long as it gets a direct supply of air it should be alright

Should be fine mounted if you look into the side vents it's up at the top so should be plenty of air getting to it

Cheers for the info on the FMIC fitting Derek, appreciate it. Re. the SMIC air ducts, can't they be removed without cutting? I wasn't aware they were an integral part of the bumper.

PTFE in aircraft systems is very worrying.

You're not joking, I *hate* flying at the best of times!

Theyr is a couple plastic ducts that do come off but you will need to cut the bumper, you can't see anything once the bumper and grills are back on.

Haha you ever watch the Spanish guys that see your jet in or off on holida, it's funny cause you know what they should be looking at but don't haha

Spent the last few nights reading through this thread (a few pages a night) and this car is going to be awesome when its finished!!

Great progress so far and cant wait to see the seats fitted and the car with 'stance'. First time Ive saw those Merc wheels on a Leon and they really suit it!! Like the purple callipers and hoses as they are different to what people usually go for.

Keep up the good work :D.

Cheers man, I'm surprised you manage to get thru the whole thread there is a lot of crap in them pages. The purple stuff has kinda surprised me as it was a total random thought/ dare when me and my mates where sat in maccy ds.

It's coming together might stick the wheels back on soon

Nice one, they look a lot better in there than I thought they were going to. Good job ;)

What did you have to do to get them to fit? Custom or aftermarket runners?

They are miles better than the standard ones, so much more support.Custom mounting brackets too, just drill two holes and the rest the holes line up perfect, took about a hour or so to get them in.

Really liking those. Cars going to have a funky look about it for sure!!

Cheers man, yeah not many leons running these...if any
