DSG - Torque rating

In another thread I have asked some question re tuning the new 170 bhp engine for hill climbing.

With the DSG it would be brilliant as I could left foot brake - but I have a nasty feeling that it may have a fairly low torque rating - any information would be much appreciated.

annoyingly if you LFB the throttle will cut out too

S**t, I had forgotten about that little VW delight. Is it possible to over-ride that feature when re-mapping?

depends on the mapper, it has been possible to edit the 'time' you can put your foot on the pedals for.

If you look here, jabba restrict the torque to 295 lb ft for the dsg box:

Assuming that the 170 has the same box as the 140.
