appreciate that - thanks!
I doubt I will though - I think I'll have to just do it....as if standard figures and performance aren't enough.....Sunday Times columnist Charles Clover happened to add a paragraph about his diesel 2010 "ecomotive" Seat that only does about 37 MPG, far less he expected. I had to mail him and tell him my 2.0 does over 50 everywhere. Tells me he's thinking of getting a Fiesta petrol now, as he has to wring his car's neck to get anywhere, hence the high consumption. Everybody with the DTUK box gets better go AND better mpg. It's the sensible thing to do.....is that going to convince Mrs P do you think? When she's wearing a surgical collar from whiplash?
Are the mpg figures with DTUK boxes true figures or just what the onboard computer is telling you? I had heard that the box affects the accuracy c of the onboard computer?

I haven't worked it out myself but it definitely does give you better mileage as I get an extra 100 miles per tank since fitting the DTUK box

That must be the most reliable way to see if there is an economy benefit.

You can't argue with 100 more miles per tank as evidence.

Assuming of course you haven't started driving like a granny since it was fitted - haha

Has anyone tried "Trevor" with 184 TDI? Any feedback? Problems? How dsg handle those 470nm?

Trevor on the 184 dsg is great and pedal box makes a massive difference as well.

Im actually running CRD3 demo on my car and back to back over the 2 channel it feels loads stronger mid to top end and smoother power delivery lower down the range.

Fuel is much the same to be honest but does feel quite a bit stronger power wise

This is good. How much would it cost to upgrade Trevor? And when you say stronger, what exactly do you mean?

It just seams to build and build in power through the rev range.

Not sure on cost yet as they are not on general release for a while longer yet i think until development is completed and they are 100% happy with it.

Well would we have to buy the whole box and loom again or is it just a case of upgrading the software?

CRD3+

Hi Guys,

we've been using CRD3+ unofficially on various applications now for several months and have recently started the 2.0 150/184 development using our own manual 2015 Skoda VRS.

As auds2 (DTUK's STUG) has mentioned above, the addition of the cam connection totally changes the way the power is delivered, its more refined, more progressive than aggressive. We have also tested this kit on a couple of local customers cars back to back with the 2 connection kit, and their feedback has been positive and they say that the power is relentless.

On that subject if any local customers would like to try the 3 channel system on their car, then give us a call and well book you in :)

Were hoping that the kit will be available for general release within the next few weeks :) we will also be offering "trevor" owners the chance to upgrade their boxes to a CRD3+ at a cost of £75 plus vat and return carriage. This cost covers the cost of the loom, and the software is free of charge to anyone that bought the system direct from us. (1st owner), anyone running a 2nd hand box will be charged an additional £75 plus vat for the software.

I'm planning on selling my Leon TDI 150 Manual and changing to a leon TDI FR 150 DSG version.

I currently have a Trevor, and I am of course delighted that it is possible to upgrade it to CRD3+.

In the meantime, my question is, if I change car to a TDI FR 150 DSG version, can I then still use my current trevor DTUK box as it is?

it depends on the age of the box and what software you have on the box
