Are the mpg figures with DTUK boxes true figures or just what the onboard computer is telling you? I had heard that the box affects the accuracy c of the onboard computer?appreciate that - thanks!
I doubt I will though - I think I'll have to just do it....as if standard figures and performance aren't enough.....Sunday Times columnist Charles Clover happened to add a paragraph about his diesel 2010 "ecomotive" Seat that only does about 37 MPG, far less he expected. I had to mail him and tell him my 2.0 does over 50 everywhere. Tells me he's thinking of getting a Fiesta petrol now, as he has to wring his car's neck to get anywhere, hence the high consumption. Everybody with the DTUK box gets better go AND better mpg. It's the sensible thing to do.....is that going to convince Mrs P do you think? When she's wearing a surgical collar from whiplash?
