I have ran mine (184) on 3+2 and had no issues at all , very quick and quiet on that setting and still brilliant on fuel

I run my CRDT on 3+2 and that's my personal favourite. I'll be upgrading to CRD3 on Wednesday so it's good to know I could loss just put it straight on with the same setting.

I don't know if the settings are the same between the CRDT /CRD3 to be honest but I can say that it was the 3rd connection (Camshaft) on the CRD3 that made sense to me so I bought one .. It has been great since I fitted it ... I often see cars disappear in my rear view mirror on motorway runs and I had an interesting race from the lights with an Audi 2.0 Quattro 252ps It struggled to pull away from me and I managed to keep up with it ! By the way I don't race my car often only on a couple of occasions to test the power

Good morning folks I have had on my car now for quite a wile the crd3 my car is the 150 tdi had a few ups and downs with it tried all the settings then kept the setting on p2+2 happy all round then having talks with Andrew at dtuk very helpful as I was not able to run p1 and p3 maps on some settings with out it throwing a coil light after a wile so he said there was some modified maps he said send back my box and I will send you a new box keeping the original map 2 on but changed map1 and 3 with new maps couldn`t wait for the box to come back as going back to driving the standard car was a bit of a let down
next day got the new box back great results on p1 and p3 settings and was fully explained by Andrew what modified maps had gone on tried these for a few days and I had a coil light come on again on the higher settings grrrr so I spoke to Andrew again very helpful called me back and asked me to disconnect the boost sensor fit the original one back on hey bloody presto what a difference on settings p1/p3 pulls really hard and some more all through the rev range
grate work guys and grate service once again

The files on CRDT+ and CRD3+ will be different as the signal from the camshaft will alter where and how the fueling and boost adaptions happen in the rev range of the engine

In my opinion, no. Setting 3 seems to offer better MPG than setting 1.

Setting 1 also has the power come in earlier I find, meaning you obviously start accelerating faster.

Theres some confusion about this in the thread, also in my own testing, as the power comes earlier on map 3 than map 1, and map 3 has a lot more aggressiveness to it. Perhaps some different software versions.

Hi Havsgaard my settings have been modified with new maps on map1 and map 3 as these were causing me a few issues on my previous box fitted after extensive testing and talks with Andrew mine also seems to run better with the boost sensor disconnected on map 1+2 just instant surge and the original connector fitted so I have cam and fuel connected from the loom
cheers GHB

You're software is slightly different from GHBs His software is like the man himself, unique and very special

That MPG figure isn't accurate remember as the box messes with the cars data. To get an accurate figure you'll need to calculate it all yourself.

Hi Action script hope your enjoying yours still.. I agree with what your saying what I did not tell was that the box was not on running the one way with which I recorded the 64.2mpg on this run. only connected on the run back which was not as good what I did not say also there was a stretch of at least 12miles of limited 50mph max bloody specs
cameras
cheers

Hey guys, just got around to fitting my CRD3+, and I have had it for a week or so on the 2 program. The difference compared to stock is significant, especially above 2,200 rpm - really pleased with the results so far. The car feels considerably stronger and more willing to rev. Haven't had any issues yet (coil lights, hesitations, etc.), and I've used it in temps up to 25C.

So, very positive first impressions.

I would simply like to ask your opinion (you, more seasoned CRD3+ users): Which setting have you found best so far? I understand that +2 and +3 options are generally best to be avoided (causing hesitations and coil lights / limp home mode), but apart from that, which do you think is the "best" setting for you?....

Hi Abulafia glad you are enjoying the Crd3+ every car is different I am afraid is yours the 150 tdi or 184 tdi I have been using the system on mine for quite a while now mine is the 150 tdi with great results have possible different maps to yours I love the p1+1/2 picks up from word go and flys also P3+1/2 also very good cam comes in later I have had to disconnect the boost sensor and running with the original one as mine would throw a coil light on these settings but was ok with P1 0 and p3 0
Cheers GHB
