The 2 channel CRDT is the best option :) feel free to give me a call tomorrow if you're free

Thanks for that Andrew, can I ask why? Is it actually worth x pounds more for a little bit more power? On a budget :p haha also if I was to buy tomorrow, any chance of it coming on Saturday? :D

Do you have to do anything to a stock Leon TDi FR 184 to be able to use this: Seat leon (2013-) 2.0 TDI FR 184 PS Stage 2 (CRD-T)?

I'm specifically asking about the stage 2 bit.

Hi Slip,

I have spoken to DTUK about this, basically the referencing of 'stage 2' on dtuk website is their term of a more powerful box. It is not the same as the 'stage 2' we know about cars.

Therefore the CRD-T can happily be fitted to a standard leon fr 184.

Hope that helps!

It's about time I introduced Trevor to you all.

image_zps4d6ae635.jpg

Trevor has been in the pipeline for a while and will be officially launched later this month, but is currently available for any Leon with the latest 150/184ps TDis

Well post more details at a later date, but basically this new updated system comes with 3 programmes rather than 4, and has a push button keypad to make any adjustments.

We did conduct some dyno tests last Saturday when it was rather warm..

image_zpsae052e79.jpg

The CRDT produced 229bhp and 499nm, several minutes later "Trevor" produced 239bhp and 515nm using the same software.

We've been testing this kit for a while and have several 184 owners running this kit and the feedback has all been positive.

As previously mentioned, this kit is now available to members of the forum but not on general release til later this month.

Has any member installed a DTUK box on a TSI yet? I am particularly interested in putting it on a 1.4 140PS.

There's a few members of Audi sport running the kit on their A3s Fred

So if I have a 6 month old normal box for my 184, is there a p/ex scheme to get the new one as I'm keen to buy one?:)

We won't be offering a px scheme, but we may look at offering existing customers additional discount over and above anything usually offered to anyone.

Its something we need to discuss on a specific customer basis

Now with 11 k on my FR 184 diesel am very interested in having something fitted to give more punch to sharpen acceleration from lower speeds, been spoilt in past with two 7 ownerships and do really miss out and out acceration. So I guess the question is will a tuning box give me that, sorry I'm the wrong side of 60 and understand Weber 40 DCOE s. and valve TV s !!
When up and running what sort of hype can one expect to insurance premiums and can the rest of the factory components take the additional load with no adverse affect?

Gutted :(

I spoke to someone 4 weeks ago and ordered my crd-t box and this wasn't mentioned :( If I'd known, I would of happily of waited 4 weeks to get the new and improved box.

Wish I could have bought a Trevor :'(

Me and a fellow TDUK box owner were chatting the other week saying the only one thing that would improve the boxes would be some way of map and settings changes to be quicker and less fiddly so you could literally just pull up in a lay-by before going for a blast and whack it up or alternitavely knock it down if you are just setting out on a long sedate drive to save some pennies....

About a week later Andrew reveals this gem! Oh well, too late now. I guess I can just be bitter every time someone posts about their awesome shiney new DTUK box...........

The retail boxes werent supposed to be with us until September, we had a single prototype box on hand and low and behold our last shipment that arrived from Germany included these instead if the current box.

I have been running Leon FR (150 TDI with DSG) with a TDUK box fitted now for over 6,000 miles and not had one single problem, the difference they make is massive on the 150 so on the 184 it will be even more impressive.

And in regards to insurance I would give andrew a call (Service from him is second to none) and he will let you know about some details when it comes to insurance.
