DV Metal Retainer Clip

Whats the easiest way to remove the Metal Clips off the DV?

Tried the small screwdriver but its not coming off

Cut them gently? pliers and twist?

Was trying pliers but that wasnt working either, might try a hacksaw on the top part of the clip or my dremal.

Yeah they are sods, but once you get the knack they come off.
Dremel will be your knack lol

bloody hope so...think thats a saturday morning job.

Just trying to think about the easiest way to tighten up the new clip on the 4mm tube.......might be a plier or spanner job

I don't use any clips on the 4mm, just interference fit.

no way.....thought it would blow off without the clip on the 4mm pipe for some strange reason

Nah be fine not used them in 2 1/2 years or so.

well that saves a ball ache tightening up the clip, how is yours mounted?? top of dv facing up like the standard one or on its side?

Nipple is up, tried it the other way, didn't like the chirp it gave.

I snipped the crimped bit with side cuttters found that to be the best way to get thoes silly clips off!

Will see if i can dig out a pair.......they just seem solid! Other than that ready to attack it with the dremel just had the little lad taking up my time today
