earth lead

would it be possible to run an earth lead from the battery to an amp rather than earthing it out in the boot somewhere.
in theory the earth go's back to the car's battery anyway? (doesn't it )? any help appreciated

Not worth it as it'll be expensive due to the extra cable. Just earth it in the boot.

not bothered about cost i 'aquired' some from work!

No it wont be any better, just a waste of time and material really.

Best bet is the standard earth point in a Leon, under the LHS parcel shelf trim
