That tutlewax may be okay but personally, i'd reccommend Autoglym super resin polish, poorboys polish with carnuba or maybe meguiars deep crystal polish/ paint cleaner
It depends what you are using it for though, if you have got deepish scratches then the above are good for completely removing them, if its just swirl marks and stuff then the Autoglym ultra deep shine, poorboys black hole type filler polishes would be better

colour shouldn' be an issue with "proper" polishes.
id use autoglym super resin polish on a foam applicator. it isn't very abbrasive and fills more than it removes scratches/swirls. then put a wax on top and you'll be chuffed with the results.
 
AG Super Resin is pretty good TBH, Like has been said its is abrasive and has fillers to help hide light marks, But TBH all VAG paint is hard, So your not gonna remove to mant marks by hand, would need a rotary for that really.
