Ecotek Powerboost engine decoker?

has anyone used this ....is it any good ? if not are any of these addativs good

have done a search and couldnt find anything

Hi ye m8 i have i used it the other night and the cars running great.. easy to use definitly did something as about halfway through using the tin, deposits of soot and muck bellowed from the exhaust and ran clear again after about 2mins.. i got mine off ebay £13.99 +£3 p+p.. The car now has very smooth acceleration and more economical.... 51 plate tdi 110 with 127500 on clock

I also used this. Found it made the car run that little bit more smother. Nice and easy to use, just make sure you disconnect the MAF before doing it.

didn't fifth-gear do a test of all these so called power products and end up proving that in every case engine bhp actually went down by 2-3 bhp. The link Lee69 posted adds more weight to the response:

Firth gear tested fuel additives this is different, not that i'm saying it works. (Haven't tried it)

i used it on my clio 172 years ago and just put a tin through the wifes 1.1 206 and they were both alot smoother and ran alot better.not sure bout the performance but so much smoother n free revving.i dont understand why so many people on here slate poducts, if people want to use them its up to them dont need to see things about trading standards or whatever it was.
if want to use it go ahead dont let other people put you off

we dont slate products, peoplea are giving opinions on them, if thread starters didnt want opinions then they wouldnt ask....

all i can say is that if you regularly service your engine, keep it clean, use quality fuel. i.e optimax etc

then you will not have a problem with the issues this powerboost thingy states.
