Ive been looking at these for a while and im considering it cos i want to try n save a little few each week by getting a better fuel consumption.

Has anyone got one/used one and do they actually work??

Thanks in advance.

Just go easy on the go pedal. I have just come back from Ilford, Essex to Surrey in 1 h 20 or so and in my 16v the mfa was showing an average of 44.7 mpg

exactly, just dont drive it like you stole it.

40mpg isn't that bad at all. especially when you consider a gti isn't exactly the kind of car you buy for economic motoring....

You have to cut a hose to fit it, if anyone will post me their hose (in good nic, without an ecotek fitted) i will send them back mine with an ecotek fitted. I dont need mine.
