Hi guys....I've just had this problem...had a remap done, and the git took out my ecu, pulled it apart and soldered a new chip in (because he couldn't access through the OBD port). Anyway, went thru a car wash the other night and the car wouldn't start....been two weeks without the car now, and new ecu required...water got in....1700 euro (inc. labour)....so a cover would be a great idea, but I have a Leon TDi (Mk1)....

Sorry for the lack of drawing guys i've been off work the past couple of days with tonsilitis, again. I'm 'borrowing' a copy of Solidworks this weekend to do it so the drawings should be sent monday at the latest.

Just realised that I have a spare ECU in the house, so if you need it for any measurements, or just want me to draw around it, and make a box, let me know.

I also have some sheet metal, so i can knock up a prototype, (the hard way, not with a prototype machines, these designers use these days! ) LOL

you would need the ecu holder aswell to make a proto type

I want to make it first, which will be done this weekend as i want to check the clearance under the wiper arm.

Peter/Forge, would you be able to put the Forge logo on the top face like whats on the top of the FMIC?
