lots of info on here if you search mate.

but it's pretty safe to get a remap, its a pretty robust engine. Can tune them upto about 330 bhp before internals need uprating so no worries there. Obviously the additional power will add more stress to certain parts of the car ie brakes/clutch etc but nothing to worry about.

You might want to consider uprating the dump valve to a metal one as the standard plastic ones tend to fail with the increased boost of a remap (forge 007 ones are very good)...again lots of info if you search

Hi there,

If you give me a call at Custom-Code HQ I'll be more than happy to discuss the options for your car. As an un-modified example Custom-Code phase one with an uprated diverter valve (Forge 007 is recommended) and a pannel filter (we use Green Cotton) will be perfect for you. The software is £380+VAT plus the cost of the parts, if you get in touch with me I'll try and do you a deal on them.

You will see in the region of 190-200BHP and 220-230lb ft of torque over your standard 150 and 163 respectively. These gains will be smooth and useable and with excellent throttle responce and drivability.

You express concern for your engine but the Custom-Code files are totally safe and proven many times over.

Mine has a Catback stainless exhaust and the split R valve and thats the lot so the phase 1 is more than enough then yea???

Phase one will suit your set-up spot on. I would also recommend a green pannel filter. Send me a PM and I'll do my best to sort you out a deal.

Hate jumping on these threads, but just to make you aware, we have tuned alot these models for members on SCN.

Have a read of the reviews in our forum section, and feel free to contact us.

Members get a massive discount, making the P-Torque re-map just £275 all in for stage 1. This also includes an engine diagnostics check. :)

Everybody likes to get the lowest price when paying out some of their hard earned, but if you're talking about your pride and joy I'm sure you'll all agree it's worth the little extra to get your car mapped by the experts at Custom-Code.

We feel our knowlege and experience tuning these ECUs cannot be matched :)
That sounds like a challenge to me.

I wont hassle customers for business. If they know we are here, then they can make their minds up.

@ custom code.....its not a challenge, nor do I think it is neccessary to post what you did, sounds a bit silly. We simply responded to the thread, just like you.

We dont tend to mention these things, but we recently had a customer with a Golf mk4 1.8T with GT28 conversion. He had a custom re-map for a company (of course not mentioning names ;-) ) and he wasn't happy, but told that that was as perfect as they could get it. We had it for 2 days and prooved them wrong.

Well I can confirm that that GT28 golf wasn't done by us.

As for said challenge, independant rolling road, we'll supply a big turbo car. We'll each tune it and let the results speak for themselves...

I like to keep things friendly with other tuners, so lets drop this rubbish

I'm sure P-Torque/CC tuned cars will meet at various RR days

I also like to keep things friendly, but it's good to keep things interesting whilst keeping in the spirit of things.
