Ecu removal

Could anyone tell me how to remove the ecu as i can see it under windscreen but cant work out the best way to get at it? Ive tried google but cant find anything so suggestions/links to a guide would be very helpful

If the ECU is the Body Control Module (although I doubt it), then it can be removed from under the steering wheel box. You will find three or four harnesses connected to it, just remove them and remove the module.

engine ecu under screen /central electric ecu is in car drivers side under dash . wiper arms off scuttle trim then you neet to remove antitamper bolts and it will pull out

Can i unplug the ecu with out removing the anti tamper bolts?

Just want to know so i can test my old ecu to prove to my self if stealers where right in there diagnosis!
