Yeah sorry to ruin it for you and the OP, lol.

It would need the ability to store 2 maps, and accept an input to switch between them. The standard ecu has neither of those.

So after a lot of being turned away or quoted stupid amounts, I’m at a loss for where to go for this, do you know any places that would offer this map connected with the TCS and throttle? Only place that has said they can do it quoted me £5000
I'm not naming names or saying anything specific but there used to be an independent VAG specialist in my area (Hampshire) that was a friend of a friend, he was the "original" maker tester coder whatever the term is that imagined the whole no lift shift TCS throttle shizzle, and loaded it onto a friend's car to test it before getting it certified and public, now this was almost a decade ago but back then he said it's about a £3k map with all the other stuff as well I can't really see it still being that price now considering advancements in tech and how "common" this engine/type of map is but I did say that noone around my area would do it for "non Motorsport" purposes. I can speak to "my guy" and see if he's still got the map or a version of, I know he still works for independent VAG specialists as I was going to buy a Cupra R off him but I'm not sure if he still does the remap stuff.
