ecu warning light

hiya recently bought a LCR and joined this site, V. good site and LOVE the car! fitted a forge DV the other day with a pipercross airfilter, all was good for a few days, but today a engine warning light came on..... any ideas how to solve this?????or what has caused it....? could it b due to the air sensor?? wud a revo re-map solve this if so? cheers for any help

what warning light has come on, look in the manual and post what it means mate...

could be a multitude of things?

My engine light came on during a long trip. Turns out it was just the exhaust, as a bit of redex and an Italian tuneup sorted that out. So it might not be too serious, but certainly worth getting VAGCOM on the car if a thrashing doesnt help.

redex and a italian tuning....???

also thrashing it wont help, as if its a serious problem then thrashing it as you say will kill it.

we need to know what light it is youve had come on to help.
