I've got a Seat Altea 1.6 Se Cr Tdi Ecomotive and it's now the 3rd time I've had the same EGR fault and apparently it needs replacing...... again!!
This time around, I've tried blanking it (with and without a hole) but it wont come out of the dreaded limp home mode. Have been reading numerous posts about remapping the EGR out but want to know if this has worked well for anyone without having the DPF removed too? Don't want to remap it out only for the DPF to get clogged up! And don't want to remove the DPF for it to fail the MOT... Been quoted £150 for the EGR remap.
