...how rare? from my 2 week ownership of a leon cupra, i dont seem to notice many with leather interior and electric front seats... like what ive got :funk:

discuss.

seen early ones that had it and an option on the list iirc until about 01/02

after that it was pretty much special/import order

few around though

They are nice.
They get red hot in the sun though. And you have to lose the cupholder for the heating switches.
Gutted.

Saw a low mileage, electric leather pre facelift 02. Does look very nice, but I just couldnt get too comfortable in it. That and my other half hates leather.

oh, i didnt know you could get heated ones too!! doh!
no memory on mine either.

When I got my LC new in March 02, the leather electric seats cost me £1800 extra, there was no heating option on UK cars and no squirter option either. So if your car has these from that date period, it was an import.

dont mind about the memory but if I had leather would like heated - after borrowing my gf's car when it was freezing it did chill me quite a lot

I have just bought a set of half leather seats out of a Toledo.
They have memory settings but not heated...
Only problem is im having trouble fitting them.
DO THEY FIT??? ANYONE KNOW??

I have leather on my 02,no memory or heating, they are nice but do get super hot in the summer, and after cleaning they are a swine to stay in if you throw it around the corners!

I think because it wasn't issued/exported to the UK ??
As goes with more options, I noticed over the years reading this forum.

Including my 4 wheel drive ;)

My Cupra has full leather interior (which includes everything inside,
up to the door boards).
Front seats are electrically adjustable, in all directions (with memory) and
are heated.

Our Cupra R's have this ugly Recaro interior made of cheap fabric
with a little bit of leather on the sides.

And in the R it is not possible to choose any other interior (!!)
That's the main reason I did'nt want the R
