electric window... repair?

My drivers side electric window failed fairly recently. its not the switch or the motor itself, it appears to be a relay (maybe)... I dont mind buying a new one, but i dont think it would be all that hard to fix...

Has anyone experienced this and tried to fix it?

Dont wana take it out, take it apart and not have a window in (until i get a new one, if i cant fix it).

you will prob need a new regulator

you dont happen to know the part number for it...
Dealer I use never has any idea what im talking about.

Probably be the cable mech that has failed, what are your symptoms?

moving the switch makes a clicking noise (like a relay) down in all the regulator/motor housing. but nothing else happens. ive had the motor apart... it all seems to be ok. any ideas?

My windows have just stopped working aswell, do you know where the relay for the electric windows is? and what one it is?

You have to take the doorcard of... and its a pain to get out... all the electrical stuff is in a black housing mounted (i think) to the top right of the speaker...
It all seems to be intergrated circuit boards. I had to put it all back quickly when it started raining. So didnt get any further than that.

If it clicks but doesnt move, and you know the motors OK (hard wired it our removed it from frame and tested) then its your cable runners.
