Hi I have recently bought a 2005 Leon tdi 130 SE. The car is in pretty good nick apart from a broken switch on the drivers side electric window/central locking switch panel. The switch is the wide one between the front and rear window switches. I think its the "safety switch" that disables the electric window switches in the rear of the car. I have found a couple of replacement panels on ebay but the graphic on these switches look different to that on mine. The broken one on my car has a little picture of a window with a cross in it. Apparently I'm not allowed to post URLs on this forum yet but if you search ebay for "seat leon electric window switch" you should see a couple.

does anyone know if it is the same switch or not - or even what the graphic is on the ebay one? I doubt that I'll ever use the button but just want everything to be working right.

Thanks
Jim

I wouldn't bother. Who uses that? Just tell the people in the back to stop moving the windows or they can walk.

what i'd do mate is go to your local garage and ask if they can get parts for you this is the part number you need for the whole new switch panel 1J3959857B. hope that helps

I would but he people in the back don't listen to me - I'm just their Dad. :)

Thanks for the replies. I reckon that both switches are the same so I think I'll go to the garage and see how much they want. If its too much I'll get the one off ebay,

Cheers
