Does anyone know if there are any known problems with SEAT's electric windows ?

Mine are fine but my old Rover had 2 motors go on it in a couple of years and my mate who had a VW Golf at the time said that VW's were notorious for it and the costs were high.

I must admit I would rather have the window down sometimes than bang AC on but it is always in the back of my mind I will hear a bang and see the glass disapearing into the door !!!!

No problems heard of, will concur with previous VW problems, both my Polo's went (front), though what's Rover's got to do with it ?, same mechanism ?

If you want the window down then do it !!, my rear ones get a right hammering from the kids and no probs so far.

Was just using Rover as an example as it was the car I had before the Altea. I suppose all cars electric windows will eventually pack up the more stick they get.

im having problems with my windows at the moment the runner has shattered and i lost my passenger window a couple of days ago ordered the part i need from the dealer and they sent me the drivers side!!!
