Electrical Fault

Any idea's on this people?

Recently may car randomly makes 3/4 beeps then my head unit turns off and the power stearing cuts out when the car is on tick over and you turn the stearing wheel, if you restart it then its fine . It done it earlyer today and the trip and clock reset to 0. i dont think is the battery because it never turn over lowly when starting so may question is what could it be??????

I know its not much help, but I'd get someone to stick a vag-com on it near your area.

Will only cost a beer token and it should help you out

sounds like a voltage problem, i.e massive voltage drop.

Mine did this once! bout 2 weeks after i bought it reset everything to 0

not done it since tho so i never found out what caused it

Dodgy battery connections or engine to chassis earth strap connections.

Check the battery connections are tight and have no white furr growing on them.

right ill check them tomorrow, its only an 07 plate so may just take it the stealers and get them to sort it out.
