Electrical Gremlins is it the beginning of the end?

I have an 02 model Alhambra PD115 SE, recently when turning the ignition on the climate control display does erratic flashing and un-readable for about 20 seconds and settles down. It still all workd ok.
Then in the last week or so there have been other occasions when the radio has changed from playing the CD to radio at random or when one of the indicators has been activated. This has happened occaisionally in the past, but is now more frequent. Any ideas, loose earth connections etc, I know that these sort of electrical gremlins are notoriously difficult to trace.

climate control panel flashing normally signals a fault in the AC system! low gas, pressure loss etc... either that or the plug in the back of the panel are loose? these have been know to work loose!
as for the radio switching from cd the radio? possible bad earth? again plugs working loose? have you disturbed anything behind the dash lately?

Thanks,
Haven't done anything knowingly AC seems to work ok but have noticed windows mist up easily when its raining and cold even with AC on. (clears front side windows if set to clear screen setting. As the AC display is in the centre console with the radio, may be a related fault, sounds like a trip to a garage to check over.

Did you get this fixed?

My 57 Cupra TDI starting playing up tonight. While sat idling in queue for 5-10 mins the front cooling fan switched on for maybe 1-2 secs then went off. It did this 3-4 times. Water temp showing usual temperature, outside temp was -1.

10 mins later I stop the car to go into a shop, when putting the ignition on to restart it the climate panel lights up all digits and flashes for a while. It then put the A/C on as it was previously on Econ. Everything seems to be working okay but a little paranoid now something is up with the coolant system or A/C. Not what I want at this time of the year.
