Hi all,
I got my 2023 Formentor e-hybrid in June and after few days i noticed battery error. But after stop/start cycle it went away for a while. Over last few weeks its coming up again. Its not changing anything, everything works ok. Anyone came across that error?
What is the cause?

Thanks

It's the first time I see this error message in 3 years of Formentor PHEV usage, but I would say the pictogram next to that error shows the 12V battery. It's worth a 12V battery test if your car is 3+ years.

Is this error coming up while driving, or while the car is stationary and some accessories are used (ventilation, audio etc.).
I'm asking because the 12V battery should charge while driving (either in hybrid mode or in pure EV), and while charging the HV battery. Are you regularly plugging the car to charge the HV?

I'm sure i've seen quite a few complaints of the 12volt battery failing early, on many makes of hybrid car, the general consensus is that the makers are fitting cheap batteries!

From what ive heard on internet, its even more common when car is sitting in dealers parking lot, which mine was for about two weeks with only few test drives. What i dont understand is that thee car suppose to be fully checked by dealer before handing over the keys...obviously 12v battery is not on the list

Only happens when driving, very often when its hot outside. And its random to be honest most of the time in hybrid, but last 2-3 times in EV. Only accessory is bluetooth audio
