look at the swirl marks in the paint caught by the flash of the camera. I would really suggest a STG3 polish to get the best look wise out of the car (either that or its just the way the camera has caught a funny reflection)

I think that would round off the car really nice. I think also some nice pressed plates would as well, and that should be it

I'm liking the look of this car, clean and simple, and not that many good examples of tollys about today, so its nice to see something a little different, well done :)

You're all making me feel guilt for painting the wheels black now.

I honestly think in the flesh it looks better now with all black wheels.

I agree the polished rim wheels did look good, but it just didn't look right on a red car, it didn't work. I used to look back at the car and think hmmmm. It looked like they were too aftermarket.

On a black car however, I think they do work brilliantly, maybe I should have sold them to someone with a black car and got some other R wheels

With the wheels all black now I also think I can get away with having plastic upper and lower bumper valances. Originally I wanted to paint them red, but It could make the wheels look too small having that much red on the car.

dude you are totally right. It is swirltastic !! It's not the camera. These pictures are after a clay and then I got bored so I coated it in autoglym gloss protection straight after. haha.
I have since however wiped the dust off my machine polisher and am planning on using some decent meguiars stuff to get it nice and smooth. So it was a bit of a white lie saying i had already polished it

Don't worry I'm on the case though :D

First I need to sort some jobs though, I've been getting the "leaky door" syndrome in the passenger footwell recently with all this rain and on the way home from work today I was listening to some tunes rather loud and the drivers door tweeter has given up !!
Not Good!

No worries mate :)

And in my opinion the wheels look much better that the previous ones, more of an OEM feel to it

Well it's been ages since I posted on this forum but I still own this car above! It really has been a great car and never missed a beat in the 2 years so far I've owned it.

It isn't needed anymore for a long daily commute so so I plan to sell very soon.

Reason I'm now posting is to ask if anyone is interested in a wheel and lowering package combo for a toledo? Just before I put an official for sale thread up I'm offering the above wheels and suspension together for anyone interested (not free obviously...haha).

I don't think there's enough modded Toledos in the world so I'm offering these wheels and suspension to someone else to live the dream!

I have no doubt I will get more money for the toledo itself when stripped back to standard and I still have all the original wheels and suspension so it shouldn't be a problem.

Feel free to get in touch if you're interested or know anyone that is !

Thanks.
