My car is in there at the moment.. All good so far.

Were very nice to me when i dropped the car off and chatted to me for a while about the mods done...

Had its 50k service today (at 45k) with no problems found.. They are also sorting my splitting chargepipe hose which should arrive tomorrow :)

Has anyone ever had the seat garage clean the car when its in for an mot ?? That would be a massive bonus ;) :cartman:

oh and they are also replacing the brake servo free of charge.. Its already been changed since the recall but they said they would put a new one on anyway as it was still listed on their system as needing it

Ive been in here a couple of times for some advice on Leon Cupra's... didnt find them very helpful at all. Im a fairly young driver I guess (23) but the old guy in there seemed to write me off as soon as I got in the door. ... very unlikely i'll be buying my cupra from there.

I think you are in the minority, most people think they are a bunch of w**kers, and their Newbury branch aren’t much better (except from Jason who is always very helpfull). Lets hope this is a change on their part and a sign of good things to come.

Never had good experiences there. Would have my R serviced by them but they wont give you a courtesy car if you didn't buy the car from them. So they've lost the business 3 services from me and I suspect I'm not the only one that's gone elsewhere because of it.

I had two issues with Emmer Green:

1/ I got a crack on the windscreen with a brand new Cupra R, only after a few weeks from purchase. They wouldn't change it under warranty, claiming "it was caused by a stone", although there wasn't any trace of impact. Another SEAT garage (Newbury) confirmed it was a pressure crack and replaced the windscreen under warranty.:)

2/ A small plastic cover from the petrol tank came off when I went over a very high speed bump. Emmer Green ordered the part for me. It took me months of chasing up to obtain the part. When I finally got it, they wanted to charge me £60 to fit it (on top of the part price), for a job that takes literally 5 min according to them.

Never went back.

The only time I used Emmer green was for that very problem. Windscreen cracked overnight. To be fair they did sort it under warrenty but it took 2 weeks to get the screen in  and then I had to get a train home, then back to the dealer again ( and walk the couple of miles each way between the dealer and station ) because of thier curtousy car policy.

I used Emmer Green for a 10000 mile service when I had a 180 Cupra. No courtesy car and when I returned to collect the car, the price had mysteriously jumped to £160! They charged me for windscreen wash when I had already filled it - their excuse? - It was the wrong concentration! They also charged me for an oil top up pack! Bunch of highwaymen! Now Humphris of Oxford - that's the complete opposite!

Ha ha, its th eopposite for me, The newbury buch of (better not) really did me over and have been no help to me what so ever.

Emmergreen have sorted me out several times and when replacing most of the fron end (beeza V hilux Guess the rest) they did me a good discount as i was buying alot. Well impressed and will always be going back untill proven other wise.

I would never use them again based on my recent experiences with them. Customer service is appauling. It is a long story and legal action is about to be taken against them, so I can't go into detail.

Suggest you proceed with caution with Emmer Green garages, and only use them if you have no other option.
