Having a bit of an issue with my sidelights, fitted piaa leds. Worked great for a long time however drivers side is now playing up. Sometimes wen I start the car I get the bulb error light however it cancels itself in 1 of 3 ways:

- turn lights on and off a couple of times
- once I've driven for a bit
- indicating right, the indicator tick tocks fast for 2 secs, then error goes away and indicator returns to its normal pace

So has anyone any idea wat sort of witchcraft is at work in my car as she's due mot on sat!?

Thanks in advance

i have LED sidelights, and i get the light on the dash now and again... turning them off and on again solves it for me. that i can live with.

i think most people with led lights get this issue, it seems a common fault.

I occasionally get the warning when I turn on the ignition, but it goes out after I switch them on. You could just re-fit normal 5w capless bulbs for the mot.

This also happens with my hid head lights i think its due to the fact that you are tricking the canbus system due to the current differance between them and standard bulbs as said i think its a common fault with led lights and hids
