engine bay fuse box probs???

anyone had probs with the fuse box on top of the battery?
wondered why fans and re-circ water pump were not working,then pressed on fuses and all started working.where attaches to positive on bat seems bit corroded,cleaned up abit.
Seems to be copper under the silver finsh,hope is sorted now!!!!

its prob full of water and corroded. thats what happened to mine anyhow.

yeah there is a lot of problems with them....they usually melt so your pretty lucky it was a little corroded!

well am getting boost probs running lean,think may be related.anyone know what each of the wires goes to?

I have got the same problem with mine, which bit do you have to clean up / change?

I just purchased a new fuse box from seat in cambridge last saturday, fitted it sunday everything was working fine, then checked it this wednesday and its done the same as the original one. Its melted the far right fuse so now my fans and pump have stopped working again. Do ya reckon its just a duff box or could there possibley some kind of surge which is causing it. I think im going to ring seat soon but im not to sure wether i can have a replacement as they may blame it on the car. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.
