Anyone tried a 2.0 16V TSi from the MK5 Golf GTI

Sorry been away for a while need to catch up on peoples projects!!

i know someone who has a 1.4 tsi its a monster the supercharger is there till around 2000-2500rpm then the turbo kicks in there rapid thing think there at 170 brake

its a 1.4 tsi in the new cupra but its 180bhp with a 7 speed dsg gear box i rekon its guna piss all over the corsa vxr and fiesta st

I imagine the problem would be accomodating the six speed box to go with it all.

yeah mate, its gonna be probably exactly the same, but with slightly different cover (like the 1.8 20vt in the ibiza's)

he actually put that plus the DSG in? mental, i'd definitely love to see that!

make sure you MAKE him sign up hahaha

Christ who needs seven realistically I know that was the issue with the 1.8T six speeds when transplanting.

i know, its madness, but that extra 7th gear would bring revs stupidly low on the motorway! 1200rpm hahaha
