You NEED a new gearbox though as the bell housing on the 7spd DSG dont match the bell housing onthe 6spd TFSI setup.
Statllers had a 6 spd DSG, 2.0TSI and ECU/loom that he offered for the build, so its worth going to him for the parts.
Bear in mind you will need custom intake, custom downpipe, a MUCH bigger intercooler, ECU, Loom, custom engine mounts, loads of custom pipework for the intercooler, rad, turbo coolant etc etc.
The car will be front heavy which will ruin the handling, but this can be negated by adding weight to the rear of the car. For instance, contact the vRS guys and buy their ballast weights from their cars. The vRS has 3 x 8kg weights that attach to the rear crash beam behind the bumper. Adding maybe 6 of these weights (48kg) to the rear crash beam could/would balance out the weight distribution and ensure optimum handling. Plus with the TFSI the extra weight can be countered with the extra power.
