I have a sensor that is gone which is causing the engine management light to come on.. a 400 quid labour intensive, day off work and get the car to the other side of the city for it to be fixed type of sensor, which is a pain in the backside!!!
Is there any way to get the engine management light to go off and stay off, or even temporarily on a Cupra R? I know you can unplug the battery for a minute and then when you plug it back in, its fine but the light can come on at any stage. I know its not great but until i can organise a day off work and get the funds, i dont want that light to be in my face

thats one of the crappist things i ever heard....

its a warning light, warning you of a issue with your expensive car..

unplugging a fuse, ignoring it isnt the way forward, get it checked out before it turns into a big issue that will cost you loads..

how you know its £400
