hi guys i have a leon 1.9 tdi cupra fr 150bhp.

i know this is a complete shot in the dark but....... i've recently done a 450 mile round trip. the wheel bearing started to make a noise but thats not what i'm confused about!

after driving about 5 miles on the 3rd day of my holiday i parked in a car park... everything was fine when i left my car. When i came back to my car the engine management light was on. i have absoloutely NO idea what it is. the car seems to drive and respond fine but the light remains on!!

any ideas people??

you need to use vag-com to find out the DTC that's been logged for a proper idea as there are quite a few things that can cause this or a call in to a dealer/independant.

best course of action would be to cover it up with something... a plaster maybe?

hehe

are you sure it s your engine man light and not the tcs light ? drving a long distance might have set the brake pad warning light on...

Probably something and nothing like a glow plug fault of temp sensor, get the fault code read and go from there mate.
