I've got my car booked in next week for this.

Check Engine Light hasn't come back on but the P2422 code is "pending" so it will soon. I get the "tank cannot be filled" message when trying to release the fuel filler as presumably it can't balance the pressure due to the faulty valve.

Engine runs almost constantly when the tank is 3/4 full or more. Engine needs to run longer message keeps popping up which gets annoying.

Guys, see my reply to another thread here:

So, the "engine needs to run longer" is normal behaviour of the petrol engine. It is there to make sure that you run the petrol engine on regular basis. After all, PHEV is PHEV and not an EV. If you are planning to use electricity only --> sell the Leon and go for a full EV.

I don't think this is right. The manual mentions this process every 6 months with a specific warning lamp. I haven't seen this yet.

This is different (mine has a check engine light and fault code so definitely not normal) as the message just constantly comes and goes throughout a long journey whenever the fuel tank is reasonably full.

I had that error too. They had to replace a sensor. But it stopped showing that message before I had it replaced.

Got my car back today. They replaced the fuel tank vent valve.

Seems ok again so far but time will tell...

Good night, my Leon in the last two months has appeared this message four times.
You are currently at Seat, has any member had this problem resolved?

I haven't seen that message for a long long time... but I do run the combustion engine regularly. So maybe that is why.

If you run only with electricity that message will show up eventually.

Good afternoon, thanks for the answer, I always ride in hybrid mode, never in 100% electric.

Okay, then could it be that your runs on hybrid are always short? Such short that the engine is not able to warm up enough? It should reach that 90 C warmness and stay there for a while. And therefore it is showing this message? You should do some longer motorway trips so that the engine can run longer without any breaks. If you do run longer on petrol (and getting those messages), then there is something wrong with your car and you should get it checked.

I have made some longer road trips (like 300-500 km). Distances here in Finland are huge.

Yes, the trips are short, about 15 minutes.
But they always have been and I've never had that problem.
The oil to reach 90°C takes 30 minutes.

In Portugal, it only pays to buy a hybrid car for short journeys.
And it always worked fine, after the last Update it got like this.

Good evening everyone, I would like to know if any of your cars had to be intervened to solve this problem.
My car will be going in for this issue (P2422) in a couple of weeks. I was told over the phone that they will likely either replace a sensor or the evap valve itself, depending on what is causing the fault. Warranty will cover it (my car is a MY2021 with 11,000km).

Good afternoon, they did an update on my car, let's see if it doesn't happen again.
