Ok ive read about all the faults with the EPC light in the other threads on the forum and now i have this problem......last night all my brake lights were on full even when i was stood behind the car  , recently i have changed a brake light bulb and its been tripping out since, i have heard that this could be the brake light sensor is knackered and also it could be the clutch pedal sensor?...in the Seat manual it actually says its an accelerator pedal fault and i must say the car has felt slugish in 3rd....like my old mk3 golf 8v gti!! ( no i dont wanna go back there!! )

Anyways, the questions i have are, where is the Brake sensor the clutch pedal sensor and the accelerator pedal sensor?, im not at all mechanically minded but alot of people say that these could be blown or have come loose, can anyone point me in the right direction so i can check these b4 i go down to the local Vag geeza and get him to check it?

Any pointers would be all good....cheers guys / gals!

if you remove the 3 - 4 screws from the little panel covering the pedals.. you will see the switches, they are removed by twisting them, and replacement is the same.

very easy to do :)

is that like the little bit on the left you rest your foot on when not on the clutch? and are all the sensors in there are they? :)

cheers for the reply dude :)

its the panel above the pedals, if you remove the 4 screws, pull if off, at the top of each pedal you will see the switch, its held in place by ofset lugs, which when slotted into the hole and turned it holds them in place.

remove the panel.. and all should be clear :)

wrong bulb by the sounds of it! if you put a single filament bulb in a twin filament slot will cause this and visa versa
