right been messing on with the car lately, and had the inlet manifold and throttlebody off

put it all back together today and went for a spin, and was fine till went to floor it, and eps would flash up, then go away

then eps come on and killed all power to the car, and took all power off the accelerator

im guessing this has something to do with the throttle body

are the throttle boddies very tempermental?

the only thing i have done it moved the butterfuly so the motor will have moved

before i started i re alined the TB

so anyone have a clue whats up? have i somehow damaged the TB? or is this sensor releated?

hope you can help

cheers andy

Moving the throttle flap by hand shouldn't damage it as we clean them out regularly at work with no problems. You got VAG COM mate? Try realignment again. Once you have realigned it switch of the ignition for approx 30 seconds before starting it. Try that.
