Exclamation Light comes on when accelerating

Hello All,

I have an M Reg Seat Ibiza Pasion (or CL) i recently had a problem with it which resulted in the complete replacement of the distributer, now when i accelerate through 1st to 3rd the red exclamation mark comes on flickers then goes out, at first i thought it may have been due to not fully disengaging the handbrake but i have now disproved this. Has anyone got any ideas?

its def the handbrake light , poss a loose/faulty switch

Yep i've checked that, it just seems really odd that its only started to happen after the distrubtor was changed
