Exhaust query

I drive a mk4 ibiza 1.2 and was thinking of having a new exhaust system fitted. I was wondering what prices i am lookin at. My nearest decent exhaust place is exhaustsUK, anyone whos been there and could let me know anything relevent to topic would be a top man/girl!!!!

Andy, it really depends what sort of exhaust you want, do you just want it to sound "bad boy" or do you want atleast some performance increase?

Looks wise? do you want a huge bin rear end or a nice one?!

exhausts uk???

Do you think exhausts uk is bad? How come you think that? I'd just want quite small twin tailpipe, with quite a deep sound but nothing too loud. i want some performance increase aswell.

Would a standard 20vt exhaust (cat back) not fit on yours? otherwise i think it might be best to get a custom made one which might be pretty expensive. I think that Bunnin sold his old 20vt cat back to someone with a 1.2 iirc but cant remember what his name was.

Andy - I dont think they are bad, as some do know what they are doing, but personally when I see exhausts hanging off, ratterling and generally looking bad, or sounding bad to then see on the back bumper "Exhaust UK" doesnt fill me with confidence in there product tbh.

Spaniels idea could work, if you want performance aswell, I wouldnt go exhaust UK. Tho with out dissin' your car, a 1.2 will never be silly quick. If I had my old 1.2 back, id probs just want it to sound a little more meaty, which could save you money aka backbox etc?

Save the money for insurance, styling, or buying for your CUPRA in a few years
