Exhaust question

I'm thinking of putting an exhaust tip onto my Silver beezer.
No point putting backbox etc as its a 1.2 so cosmetics are better than performance, lol.

Just a quick question, are the tips easy to fit, do they affect the sound and would i have to cut the black bit at the bottom of the bumper or is there an alternative??

P.s. its a pre-facelift model.

the prefacelift models can have the FR rear valance with an arch already cut into it fitted,

then go to halfrauds or google chrome tailpipes for your choice of tailpipe

dead easy

fr valance and a fr backbox/ cupra backob would do the job perfect

It should fit, just needs welding on, pretty sure someone fitted a diesel backbox on a petrol, richie rich?

Not sure on price but must be £150??

Check ebay, some pop up if there's a crash damaged one!

yup it was me on my old 1.4 just needed a 55mm to 65mm adapter to fit 100% didt even move i got it for £40 on ebay! i must ring the dealers up and ask if they took it off for the new owners...

Yeah uv got it spot on Rosco. Theres no point me spending money on performance because it will always have a 1.2 as a base lol.

they are murder to get!!!! although im sure there may be one on now...... search ibiza braking on ebay, theres one without a pic, i emailed the guy a few weeks back n think he wants bout 70 quid, was gonna get it but bought alloys instead!!!

well im paying the dealer i brought my new car off to take my old fr exhaust off my old car for me! so it could come up for sale if your intrested? i just hope they dont put it on mine as i want a milltek lol no it dont sound the same due to only one silencer compared to two! is a little louder but was the nice'est sound in my local area on my 1.4!
