Expected Delivery?

What a nice car and lovely colour! Congrats mate. Those 17s are really growing on me. My Leon will come with them and initially I thought I did a mistake. I liked the 18s more but the delivery would have been delayed too much with 18s. Looking at more pictures now I prefer the 17s, they seem very aesthetically balanced, simple and suiting the general car style of simpler lines. Not that I don't like the 18 any more, it's just some slight feeling they look kind of "thin", busy and structurally weak.

Yes I was unsure about the 17" wheels too, but found the 18" too uncomfortable. The apollo blue looks so good - I only chose it becuase I didn't like any of the other colours. It has a bit of green too in it when the sun is out.

Just been confirmed the car will be delivered to me in the morning. FR184 in red, with sunroof, sound pack, Titanium pack, convenience pack, DAB, Sat Nav - Specced this way because as a company car the Tech Pack is a full cost option, so I dropped the LEDs and went for the sunroof instead

I called into my dealer today to sign some paperwork and found that the car arrived last night. Picking it up Saturday as tomorrow is a holiday here in Spain.

The order went in on September 30th and it was delivered on the 30th October.

That should give you an idea of the actual production/ delivery time. In the UK you just have to add the shipping time which from other posts suggested about an extra 2 weeks.

Roll on Saturday!

Guy just called to inform that the car will be delivered between 12 and 1 today. Can hardly wait! If one of you see a Leon SC FR in Monsoon Grey on a trailer driving up on the M1, that 'll be mine!

Same as mine. I love it. You won't regret it.

I know it won't help anybody but I seen quite a few truck loads of White SCs and 5dr going south on the A19 away from Port of Tyne last week.

I was really impressed with the test drive. I just can't wait to fondle with all the gadgets like a kid at Christmas haha. Well I ordered from DM Keith in York might make a call now as not had any updates since ordering all they no is its on its way. Which could mean anything hah.

I ordered mine on the 30th October and I'm picking up next Friday (15th) I ordered a 1.6tdi se (tech pack) if that's any help to you

New to the site and new to the SEAT brand in general,

Ordered my Seat Leon 5d 1.4 TSI SE with technology pack & in phantom black on Monday.

Having to wait 14-21 days, it's going to go super slow!

Anyone else got the 1.4 TSI, what's it like? Also haven't seen many people get it in black, anyone got any feedback?

My car has been delivered to Athens, Greece on Friday, however they will ship it to me (Bulgaria) around November 15. That would make it 10 weeks from ordering. I really can't wait anymore I really thought I was going to receive my car this week...

That does seem extreme. As I said in an earlier post, here in Spain I got delivery in 5 weeks for a factory order. Initially the dealer said it could be 8 weeks but was usually less depending on spec. OK you need to add shipping to the UK but that should only be two weeks max.

I think you will find that SEAT UK are probably selling more cars than SEAT Spain so there really shouldn't be that lead time unless of course they are running into quota problems.

I hope you haven't ordered through the UK broker I am using. It is now 15 weeks since my order and there has been no communication whatsoever.
I don't believe the broker is able to deliver what is a fairly standard car with no fancy options.

Just some perspective for you. I was told this when I ordered my car and in truth the dealer took delivery in just over 9 weeks. Sometimes they just manage expectations.

Just had an email from my dealer to say that he doesn't have an estimated build date.

"It is taking a little longer than normal as they are updating the Mode Year details on the factories computer system which then takes time to update on our system."

Hope that's not affecting actual builds!

No, ordered through a large southern seat dealer.. Must admit I have order upgrades like Monstant red, 18" alloys, convenience pack ANC the seat sound system.
