Phoned SEAT CS this morning but the ordering system was down so don't know the status of my car :(

On the other side LA SURPRISE has just left Barcelona for Tyne (ETA 16th March)

Ha! I just googled "how long to sail from Barcelona to Newcastle" for the same reason!

You scared me then...

Gutted, just managed to get an update from CS regarding my build.
Should still be built this week but probably unlikely to be in time for the ship L'Audace currently waiting outside Barcelona Port
Hopefully the next boat will not be too far off and mine may go then (assuming there is not a back-log of cars waiting to ship).

Hmmm, Seat CS confirmed car is due to be built this week. Clearly not going to make any of the boats due to leave this week.

Does anybody know when the next boat is due to dock in Barcelona.

CS reckoned on about a week between the car being built and making it on to a boat. This is presumably an average length of time and doesn't take into account current location of vessels.

I just hope there is another boat doing the curcuit at the moment.
The last boat docked in the UK was the Galicia, which I saw was heading for Gran Canaria (due to arrive tomorrow) but doesn't show up on the tracking at the moment
Hopefully this will be Barcelona and UK bound again soon.

That's been a frustrating day. Saw a ship finally sail, so quick to call to CS to confirm status (week 9 build, so should be there) only to get the system down response. Then I see here that the ship is going to Tyne, and to someone just outside London that is not good news either.
Feeling of anticipation is being rapidly overtaken by a feeling of frustration

SEAT CS just confirmed that mine is built, but they aren't sure when it ships out. I've got my fingers crossed that its tomorrow but who knows.

Do you know how old it is? Mine was 15 days old on Friday (19 days old now) and it is due to be on the L'Audace which is bobbing around just outside Barcelona.

If it is as old as mine, fingers crossed it will be on the same ship.

That's blown any hopes of mine shipping this week (or next probably).
Bit frustrating that CS only answer the question you ask without giving any additional info.
When talking to them yesterday I was told that mine is not built but should be later this week. I had mentioned that I was aware of boats in this week and was hoping it may ship on one of these.
Not once did they mention that there would be further waiting once built before shipping.
I just hope that any back-log of cars, due to the recent ship delays, has now cleared.

mine was a week 10 build, so it anywhere from 4-8 days old now. Don't know how long it takes them to move it from the factory down to the docks.

Perth, - still in the UK :-)
Ahoy there ship watchers! Just thought I'd mention that 2 ships left Barcelona yesterday. La Surprise due Tynemouth 9.00am on 16th AND Tenerife Car due Newcastle (not seen that destination shown before) due 10.00pm on 15th. L'audace due to load today ??Sheerness??.
For Week 11 builds the Galicia might be of interest - currently in Canary Islands?
This is a very sad pastime!!

Judging by the latest tracking, the captain of "La Surprise" must have been given the hurry-up. She's just cut a corner by going across land from Carboneras to Roquetas de mar!

Go to the following link, click off the "La Surprise" information box, follow the solid green line and zoom out 5 clicks on your mouse-wheel, shifting the map a little towards the east:

Just got the word from CS that my car is on the la Surprise. Better not have got damaged bumping over the corner of Spain.

My Leon was ordered 31/01/14, given build week 10 initially, actually built week 9. Just spoke to the dealer and he says it's marked "importer transport which means its allocated a boat for delivery". He reckons "in should hopefully be here in about two weeks". *fingers crossed!*
