Thats pretty much exactly what happened its only because i saw another fella post on here that he got his for free because they wasn't leather seat uk didn't put up any fight though dealer called them and said i didn't want to pay because they weren't leather and they said ok no problem anybody who has ordered buckets and been told they will be leather shouldn't have any trouble saving themselves £1200 which is a lot of money for something that should have been standard

Everyone has a price, obviously your honesty and integrity has a value of £1200.

I hope you find your seats very comfortable

Regardless of why he contacted Seat UK, if Seat say they are going to be leather well then they should be leather. It even states this in the brochure, lets be honest £1200 for seats isn't cheap but to get them and not get them as expected is a bit of a piss take really.

As is getting exactly the seats you wanted (but thought you couldn't have) and then insisting on a refund because you weren't supplied with the ones you didn't want!

The car wasn't delivered as ordered it was ordered as having full leather bucket seats there was no alcantara option the only buckets you could order were full leather buckets i prefer alcantara seats so was happy that they turned out to be alcantara not leather and apparently there will not be a leather option for the buckets .seat have acknowledged they have made a **** up and have put a bulletin out to all the dealers regarding the mistake .i have no regret or shame whatsoever in what i have done and would happily do it again to save money.

Well said

My car arrived in the UK Sunday morning, just need it to make it's way from the docks to the dealers now.

It is a little frustrating mind, knowing my car is parked up about ten miles from my house but I still can't get at it...........lol

Same here , was about 2 miles away from me . It's then had to go about 35miles away then get delivered back.

i have just booked my train ticket and will be getting to the dealers bright and early in the morning.the wait is nearly over

The handover wasn't anything special when we picked ours up from same dealer. However, the sales guy I had dealt with was on holiday on pick up day, so I guess his colleague wasn't all that bothered as it was someone else deal.

Wasn't fussed anyway, once I checked the car was OK just wanted to get on our way so was quite grateful for the quick handover.

Mine gets delivered on Wednesday, fiance has just been induced to deliver my 1st child, the race is on, which baby will show up 1st ?
