Evening all! Picked the new car up tonight! Delighted how it looked! Glad I went for the red 
been a little drive and misbehaved a bit when I was supposed to be running her in! I'll be good now...lol Will pop some photos on tomorrow when it's light and give some feedback after I've been more than 10 miles!

According to the marine traffic web site, the LAudace (with my Leon on board?) has now left Tyne and is heading for Sheerness, due to arrive at 9pm today (Saturday 12th October). That's good news for me, because my SEAT dealer is Southwest of London - Not so far to travel by road!

went for a drive last night to see how the LED's were! Was impressed by them! Love the deeper and gruntier exhaust note in sport mode! Even without revving it hard, the torque in 5th gear was amazing! Can't wait to get it past about 1,000 miles did notice a little rattle on the drivers door but I'll speak to the dealer on Monday. Nothing major but just a niggling sound that I'm sure can be easily tightened up and fixed.I have been given an estimated delivery date of Monday 21st October into the dealers so am assuming my company ordered car is on board the Galicia from the info in this thread.
This is indeed unbelievable that I find myself tracking a ship across the bottom of Spain on a website without being sure my vehicle is even on it!

Just got a voicemail from Paul saying the car is awaiting transit and it may not be delivered till Nov. Not sure whether to return his call to say its on the Galicia and expected to dock end of this week
Update, Spoke to Paul and he says both our cars are showing Code 30 and due to dock on 31st Oct, I'm not sure where the car is now! He said they get an email 24 hours before the car is due at the dealers.

That is exactly what my dealer said to me. When I called SEAT UK they told me it was on the Galicia. It makes me wonder if the dealers really know what is going on, or if they gain something if they keep hold of the cars until Nov.
Mine is expected at the dealers by tomorrow then onto me for delivery.
Not too sure when though, have chased again with the dealer.
My experiences have been good with the dealer so far but I'm fleet so i'm guessing they're keeping me happy in the hope that I spread the good word and bring more orders.

Update:
Well just had my phone call and it's at the dealers and looking to get delivered next week on wednesday.
Had the convenience pack and Media System Plus as added extras and have just been told because I'm fleet I get £200 discount and also a hefty % off so only have to pay £15.98 for them. Since i've got £320 put aside for them it's a nice little treat.
Wish I'd have known this before ordering though as I'd have ordered the Tech pack.

It's a company car so has to go through my companies Fleet etc. They have to sort paperwork out, also get me my new fuel card, arrange for my current car to go back and also get it delivered up north to me. So probably lots going on in the background.
Don't think I'm going to be able to sleep for a week.

Paul called me yesterday morning too. Said that the car was at the port awaiting to board the vessel but that it could also actually be on the vessel already. Said the handover would likely be end of the first week of November or early into the second week.
Not too far away now. Buys me a bit more time to sort my current car out.
Well, the Leon has landed She will be at the dealers on the 21st and they will get her all shipshape and make sure she is in perfect working order for me to pick up on the 26th!!!! Then I get to pick a registration and Irene has promised me that they will check everything before hand over. I am an excited little bunny!!! lol!!!

Rang Seat today and mine is in the UK, was rather hoping I'd be able to pick it up this weekend but with the salesman on holiday and the dealers ignoring me it looks like I'll have to wait 'til next week.
