When I ordered I was told there was one in transit so it would be 2 weeks but didn't give me a firm date. Given the info on this thread, I've looked La Suprise up, and it is currently in the English Channel on its way to Sheerness!

Guessing my car will be on that ship?

Just received an update from my dealer. Should get my hands on my leon first week in January.

Just had a call from the dealer today, confirming my factory order Leon FR will be ready for 18th Dec collection date. Car was ordered 18th of September if that helps anyone...
Oh and I'm stupidly excited!! :-D

So nearly over the fence
22nd Oct Ordered
25th Nov build week
4th Dec - Docked Sheerness
Deleivery to garage should be Mon / Tues (9th / 10th Dec)
Hoping that i can get my hands pn her on the 14th Dec
That would be just under 8 weeks from Order

Will be picking up
1.2 TSI DSG, Apollo Blue, Tech Pack, Seat Sound, Tinted Rear Windows, 17" Alloys

I am entirely satisfied with the progress I can make in it.

Of course, this statement does not cancel the laws of physics ie bigger engines with more power go faster.

However, the 1.2 is a light engine in a light car and it can go fast and/or economically if you wish. It's up to you.

Think my car must have been on the same ship as yours Vita.. Have been told earliest collection is 11th, worst case scenario the 18th December.

Should find out my pick up date this morning - getting very excited now :)

Does the 1.2 TSi DSG have a bit of poke

I've driven my mum' Skoda Yeti 1.2TSI DSG quite a bit, and they are surprisingly swift, certainly pull way above their cylinder size. As you can imagine the Yeti is a bit of a heffa compared to a Leon, but it doesn't hold back.

The 1.8 I have in my FR has more poke obviously. :funk: but the 1.2 is a great little engine and is a very capable and economic power plant. :)

Spoke to delaer - nothing from transport compnay yet - should hear from them on Monday - still thinks i can get car at the weekend....this is torture.....

London - to be honest as long as i have before the 21st that will be ok. Just quite frustrating that you cant really track where the car is once you have ordered it. I think the car was on the the boat that docked on Wendnesday at Sheerness....finger crossed for next week!
