Update for those week 9 people / ship spotters out there. La Surprise is due at Barcelona on March 3.

I've often wondered how folk find out what ship has what weeks builds, and the ports at either end. Anyone care to enlighten?

Apologies if already mentioned in the thread, I missed it.

The placing of a week 9 build on this ship is wishful (or wildly optimistic) thinking. I suspect the only way of being certain is to check with your dealer / SEAT after a ship leaves to confirm if your car is on it. Mind you, I too may have missed something
As far as knowing when a ship is due to sail try
<http://www.portdebarcelona.cat/en/web/Port%20dels%20Negocis/lineas-regulares>
This shows regular routes sailed from Barcelona. Select Sheerness or Tyne as the destination and it will come back with a route served by FLOTA SUARDIAZ. Click on the '+' in next call and, if the next ship details have been loaded, the ship name and ETA will come up.

Apologies, cutting and pasting a link is beyond a luddite like myself. Or someone still classed a Newbie

tic-toc tic-toc cannot stop watching my clock. Build week 10 is getting so close. Cannot wait to get my car, hopefully it might turn up before the 27th when the motorsport season starts and I have to make the trip down to Brands Hatch.

Finally picked up my Leon. Taken since the end of October to get it. Good news no rattles so far bad news have the dreaded paint swirls. Car is going back for a day of pampering.

Not sure what build week mine was but I ordered it last week - think there was a vehicle available rather than being built from scratch but mine is docking today into the UK.

Dealer said that Seat have 4 working days to get the vehicle to the dealer and 24hr turn around for the dealer.

Hopfully picking up New Leon FR 1.4 with tech pack in Red on Saturday :)

Perth, - still in the UK :-)
Hello week 10 & 11 builds! Just been checking the shipping schedules. Galicia unloaded in Tynemouth today (you lucky people who ordered in early january)
La Surprise is due to load in Barcleona on Wednesday 5th March and should be in Uk around 13th ( full itinerary not posted yet). This will be too soon for week 10 and 11 builds, but you could check with dealer to see if there is a chassis number allocated against your order number, which means your car does exist!. Sailings appear to be every 10-14 days which means week 10 and 11 cars are likely to ship around 15th -19th March, allowing 8 days for voyage means UK landing 23-27th March. Most likely scenario is 1st week in April for collection, ( At least Easter is late this year :) so it won't interfere). I am planning a long continental trip w/c 10th April so live in hope!

I wish I could trust the 05/03. La Surprise has spent the last 5 days off Mostaganem in Algeria without making the scheduled landfall. L'Audace, which is usually on the same route is catching up fast, but will probably hit the same traffic jam.
Getting conflicting messages regarding my car. After last week's message that my car was only just being built, I got a call today that my car was on the water, which makes no sense unless sitting on the dockside counts as being on the water.

That is great news. My car is week 10 so hopefully this week it will have a VIN number and I will be lucky enough to receive it by the end of March.
Am really looking forward to it and the waiting period is sooooooo difficult. :(

Got off the phone with the dealer. Told me that the car has received a VIN number and it will soon be sent out to transport.
What does that mean? How long? How looooong till I receive it? :(

The La Surprise ship has had its scheduled leave time pushed back from the 5th to the 7th. That might allow some of the earlier week 10 cars to get on it. Maybe.

I really really hope you are right as my car has just received a VIN number this week and is scheduled to be sent to transport "soon" (dunno what soon means for them).

Can't waaaaait!!

My partners Leon was on the Galicia and it docked yesterday.

According to the dealer, the car is not on the system yet and they say its not due to dock until Friday!!

So annoying when you know the car is in the country, but the dealer stares at a computer screen and tells you its not!
